The Story

I started my first business in Jamaica and quickly ran into the same wall every Caribbean entrepreneur hits: the software tools didn't fit our world. QuickBooks was priced in USD, had no concept of GCT, and the support teams had never heard of Tax Administration Jamaica.

Then I discovered Odoo, a powerful, open-source Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software that could handle everything a real business needs. But getting it running was a different story. The setup was complex, the implementation costs were steep, and most small businesses couldn't afford the learning curve.

So I did what any IT professional with over 20 years in the field does: I built the solution myself. I deployed Odoo for my own businesses, learned every corner of it, and figured out how to make it work for Caribbean operations. Then I started helping others do the same.

That's when VEDTECH Solutions was born: a way to give Caribbean businesses real enterprise software already configured for GCT, already set up for how we work without the $5,000+ implementation bill and the six-month wait for custom modules.

That's exactly what we built.
